My first ever Twitpic:

You all discovered how I fill out my March Madness bracket – (with my crystal ball that’s sort of Orange) OK and you all realized why I never do well in my bracket.

My first fashion moment when I realized my twitter BTF’s are the best consultants ever (and the first time I’d ever taken a picture in the changing room):

I asked you to help me pick my dress to Emcee the Bonza Bash and 831 of you gave me advice. Picking the purple dress (which is now my profile pic)!

The first time I realized the power of the twitter family:

When I created TYPT = Take your picture Thursday. I didn’t think anyone would do it, when I asked to twitpic a picture of me and you together for my desk. Wow was I blown away by my new twitter family.

The first time I felt what it was like to use twitter to make someone smile really big:

I went to the Britney Spears concert and was in the right place at the right time when they started handing out VIP upgrades. I got one extra and tweeted it.
@kallel32 came up and next thing you know WHAM we’re BTF’s front row at Britney Spears. I still think I’m trying to get my voice back from screaming.

My first time randomly being invited to say hi by a BTF because I tweeted I was in a location:

@einmaleins saw my tweet that I was doing a story in Olympia and he tweeted to me to come stop by his store and say hi. So I did, we were so excited to see each other. I think everyone in the store thought we were long lost friends. They had no idea of the power of BTF’s, the power I was starting to learn about quickly. Such an amazing group of friends.

My first time randomly running into a BTF and realizing that I knew so much about her already and she knew just as much about  me:

I bumped into @lilkaraokediva out shopping for a Fashion Friday outfit, next thing you know she was throwing clothes in my arms and knew my style exactly (Nordstroms should have paid her commission).

The first time I visually realized how twitter friends are everywhere and there to support you with big smiles:

Riding down the Seafair Parade having just tweeted to give me the secret 7 sign if you’re in the crowd AND the entire way I was greeted with screams and smiles and the secret 7 sign, it was pretty cool!

The first time I realized in this new world of twitter there were a lot of new firsts I could do:

I was the first person to ever tweet live from Fat Albert as it flew in the sky. I think my tweet went something like this “whit whoooooooooooo”

I am pretty sure I am the first person to ever bring twitter BTF’s with me on a Fat Albert flight. You were all in my pocket.

My first ever tweet up:

Here I am up on the panel at the Mariner’s Tweet Up. What a fun event. I kept tweeting things so intelligent and profound like “I hope you all can’t see up my nose” and “It’s really high up here, I’m scared of heights” lol

My first time being star struck by someone on twitter:

When I met @Chrispirillo!!!

My first time going to Costco and smiling after I spent a gazillion $:

I tweeted my grocery cart and then my BTF’s all joined in playing “Guess how much my Costco bill was?” I got 601 responses. How can you cry over your $275 bill when you have that many great people in your life playing a silly game with you?

My first time realizing how much love is out there on twitter:

My beautiful kitty went to kitty heaven and I didn’t want to wreck anyone’s days by telling them she passed away. @SamArgier said my friends would want to know what I’m going through so I tweeted it. The support and tweets I received were overwhelming. We are one big family.

A big family that keep growing every day and one I welcome in with open arms. Thanks for being in my life and I can’t wait for many more years of friendship.
