Awkward Family Photos Hogan Style

I was looking through a slideshow KIRO 7′s Seattle Insider did on awkward family photos and it made me think about one photo we got from our wedding photographer that makes us laugh every time we see it (photo below). Check it out and let me know if you notice anything sort of well let’s just say not placed in the best position…

YES, why are we signing our marriage certificate in front of a painting of a woman with her legs around my husband’s head? No one noticed until we got the pictures back from the wedding photographer. Let’s just say this one is not framed and hanging anywhere in our house.

Only other question adding to this awkward pic is where is your hand at? LOL

Lol that is sooo true, I didn’t even notice that right hand placement part. HA! What an awkward pose. This should be in wedding books of how not to pose on your big day. Too funny!

I think Jenni’s hand is on Josh’s right shoulder (see the fingers?) … she does have long arms, right ;)

btw, I think Josh in leaning-in toward the offending legs …

Hmmmm, maybe time for a little Photoshop action? And who’s hand is on your husband’s shoulder?

That is a classic awkward photo. Who in their right mind would even pose like that for the artwork behind you guys? Makes me think…um… OB/GYN? ROFL.

It’s probably a good thing that he didn’t turn his head while the picture was taken ….

My first thought was, “what is Jenny doing with her hand?” Uh Hemmmm…”holding on to his belt buckle???” THEN I saw, the painting. I’m trying to picture myself with that painting anywhere in my house-NOT!
